RETRIBUTION

The dread of war raged on mankind,
An inevitable disaster of it’s own find.
The perpetual terror dared to incapacitate,
What downtrodden souls had in their fate.
With near and dear ones lost to ominous powers,
Bitter and rampant fell the showers.
Millions of people overshadowed by grief,
Forced to retreat with the fear of strife.
Never having conceived of a miracle,
None had ever happened,  so seemed the debacle.
There lay an infinity so indestructible,
That it could linger on as a fable.
Hope sang the unstoppable melody with words
That sparkled like the hilt of gleaming swords.
Fear loomed over the souls as doom,
But courage still clung on to get over the gloom.
As their imminent existence shone clearer,
Millions hand in hand drew closer.
With an indomitable spirit their echoes resounded….

“Spare enmity and let friendship bloom.
Gone will be the times of disappointment and gloom.
Let the weapons of annihilation be destroyed,
And the seeds of retribution be harvested.
World peace is all we ask,
Before the world gets reduced to Noah’s ark.”

  1. I can relate to this totally. Very well written. You have described the reality of problems we face as humans. Our peace is in pieces. Our freedom is not free. So it is very important to step up and stop all this hatred, ego, enmity and fighting over the religions. We all are children of one soul, Universe. Hope this changes soon. Have a great time. ๐Ÿ™‚
